Easter at Hickory Grove

Designed to advertise three separate events, the 2026 Easter at Hickory Grove is a seamless church campaign. It was essential to give each event a leg to stand on its own, while also cohesively matching one another in colors, style, and typography under the umbrella of Easter at Hickory Grove.

Spring Night of Worship: This was the anomaly event that did not have a story to tell from the Bible, giving me creative freedom. Given that this event was on Palm Sunday, I made a point of highlighting the leaves and foliage.

Good Friday: Tying together the somber event that is Good Friday with the other two joyous events is a challenge. I chose to focus more on the heavy blues and greens to convey the Good Friday message.

Easter Sunday: The most important of the three events, Easter Sunday explodes in vibrant colors and imagery. If I wanted anyone to remember a design, I wanted it to be this one. The Easter Sunday illustration is a simple and effective piece that conveys the true meaning of Easter.

This project blends the meaning of Easter with crisp composition and a flat, modern illustration style. Picking whimsical colors, illustration, and typography helps this piece feel like more than just another event at Hickory Grove. Much like Easter in 2025, this project encompasses a complete suite of design assets, including social media graphics, posters, announcement screen slides, directional signage, and website graphics.
